Karen says...

Lupe was enormously welcoming, offering me my choice of rooms, a secure place to store my bicycle, and tips for places to eat in town. There were several other guests the evening I stayed, and her presence made it feel like a gathering of friends, not of strangers.

Dannielle says...

Sedgwick Antique Inn is made exceptional by Lupe herself; she loves the building and takes care of it and her guests with generosity and energy. She makes a place you have never been before feel like home.

Amy says...

What a wonderful experience! This hotel is beyond cool! So many beautiful antiques everywhere, a cool bank vault in the basement, very comfortable old soft style mattresses, a kitchen full of munchies, a wide variety of guests, lots of bathrooms to choose from, a very friendly town, and a personable fun sweet hostess. I can't wait to come back :)

Reagan says...

It was quite charming. Like every above the bar hotel you saw in every old western ever. She was very kind and it was an excellent place to crash on our trip to Estes. The breakfast at the cafe next door was nice as well. Very nice little town.

Aaron says...

This is a wonderful cost effective half point to stay at on a trip to Colorado. The host is amazing, entertaining and will make you stay feel like you are at home. If you are a coffee drinker the pot is always full and hot in the morning. Book it!

Ryan says...

Dispensary and bar across the street, fun time!! Very friendly people with a good energy. Would not recommend for children. Lupe is a fantastic host and will help you with any questions or concerns with a great smile and attitude.

Kim says...

Lupe's beautiful bed and breakfast is comfortable and welcoming. Lupe goes out of her way to make your stay whatever you need it to be. Perfect for a travel layover, though a longer stay would have been lovely!

Jake says...

Although Sedgwick is a small town a few minutes off the interstate, that shouldn't stop you from staying here if at all possible. Lupe is an awesome host and the inn is an experience you'll never forget. One of the coolest places I have ever stayed, and the price can't be beat anywhere in this area. The absolute perfect option to spend a night if you're a midwesterner driving to or from the mountains.

The Sedgwick Antique Inn is truly a gem! Lupe has done an amazing job and is a perfect host. We very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Lupe!

Joseph says...

The Sedgwick Inn is a must see and must stay! It has a boarding house feel with a long hallway full of rooms, the great room on the first floor and the huge TV room in the basement. The beds were comfortable. I showed up with my back out of alignment and woke up pain free! This Inn is perfect for bikers on a trip (like us) or large hunting parties. Loved it!!

William says...

Everything is exactly as the innkeeper stage. This is a delightfully refurbished and furnished old bank building made into one of the most fascinating bed and breakfast accommodations ever. Lupe is a fantastic and deeply interesting house touch. She wants to make your stay comfortable-and is generous and helpful. This was like a trip back to a cowboy hotel but a high-end luxury cowboy hotel. It was fascinating. Everything about it was great. Anytime I'm going across country in this area I intend to stay there.

Melissa says...

We really enjoyed Lupe! She was a great host and runs an amazing inn. She is so friendly and makes you feel at ease! The inn takes you back in time to how life felt almost 100 years ago. It was a great experience and we would be glad to visit again.

James says...

This is like staying in a museum... but one which is across the street from a cannabis dispensary! Lupe is a truly wonderful hostess. The building is an old bank, so get her to give the tour of the vault! We only stayed for one night, but it would have been easy to stay for several more!

This town is the cutest little tiny town! There really is not much nearby so come with some food or check the two town’s cafes hours first. The locals are so friendly and welcoming. Do not hesitate to go to the bar across the road (where you can get a pizza), or grab a six pack from the liquor store and sit outside and get to know some wonderful people that live there!

The inn itself is very cute and cozy. A lot of room options to choose from. The antiques Lupe has filled the place with are so stunning. The bathrooms are shared but not a problem in any way; they are still private and always open.

Overall our stay was so perfect for a good half way point stop from our trip from Chicago to Telluride, CO.

We fell in love with the quaint town and will certainly be coming back as our usual halfway overnight stop!

Thank you Lupe!

Austin says...

Very affordable and there's a wonderful dispensary right across the street. Even if you're not interested in that aspect of Colorado, Lupe's Inn is a great place to stay when entering Colorado from Nebraska. This is an antique inn, and not your typical hotel so be prepared for an experience in accordance to an older Inn. The room and bathrooms were clean, and the rooms were quiet. There is a number posted clearly on the front of the building when you pull up. Call this number and Lupe will give you instructions to your room, even if she's on an errand. Will definitely be back!

Janet says...

The place is a treasure. Perfect get away place. Lupe and staff are warm, friendly, inviting, genuine and down to earth. I love who they are and so appreciate that honesty. A Great place stay. I plan on returning!

Amanda says...

Lupe is a wonderful and generous host. This town is super small with limited amenities. Perfect place to get away. I will be staying here again!

Shirley says...

Great stay on long road. Lupe rolled out antique carpet of great hosting and overwhelmed with tour back in time. The "Mirror of Messages" was a delight and the wonderful breakfast had flavor larger than the plate. We got behind schedule.... but for very good reason... Thank you, thank you!!!

John says...

Lupe's place in a 100-year-old bank building-- in a teeny town-- is a wonderful time warp. I truly felt like I was living in another era. It was old but comfortable, and she provided a continental breakfast. Tremendous value, I'd stay there again if I ever needed to overnight in the area.

Richard says...

Very happy with the stay, quite clean would recommend to anyone looking to get a homie cozy stay for the night Loupe is a very attentive and knowledgeable of the area and the amenities that the town and surrounding area has to offer.

Wendy says...

Great place to spend the night on our way through. Great communication from the owner, she was very helpful and informative. Would definitely stay again!

Madeline says...

Lupe was a great hostess. The beds were comfy and the history of the building and everything in it was enthralling!

Ryan says...

Great stay. She was ready when I got there and very interested in hearing of my travels! Was only there a night but extremely hospitable. Always hot coffee and snacks ready. Had to share restrooms/showers with other occupants but that was not a problem at all. Definitely recommend! Thanks Lupe!

Ben says...

Neat old building converted to a great lodging space. Lupe is a GREAT host. One of the friendliest I’ve been around, ever. She had no issue with my late check in and still took 15 minutes to show me around the entire building and basement. Good value. Find a reason to go there!
