Here's more of what people have to say about their stay at the Sedgwick Antique Inn:
GUEST REVIEWS
"The Sedgwick Antique Inn is truly a unique experience. The building is large and spacious and filled with antiques and lace. The owner Lupe is as warm and kind as they come. Sedgwick is a dispensary town so there are all kinds of unique travelers popping in and out of town each with there own story. This would be a great place for an extended stay when you really need to get something done like knit or crochet a large project or even write a book."
Jonna
"Thank you for all your kindness and understanding, Lupe. You are an amazing person, in all that you do."
Herman
"Love this place. So cool!"

"Lupe was a wonderful hostess and communicated with us throughout the booking process. We had a blast just chatting with her in the evening regarding the towns history along with tidbits of her life story. Lupe is one of the most interesting host we have stayed with. The Inn is "eclectic" and in the process of going through updating. It was nice to have breakfast at the Inn before we left Sedgwick. It was a great stopping off point for us coming from the East as it left us with about a 3 hour drive to Rocky Mountain National Park the next morning."
Bill
"Lupe is a wonderful soul. She is welcoming and talented with an eye for antiques. This is a safe and beautiful spot for a restful night off the road and an oasis of beautiful people and surroundings. See you later Lupe!!!"
Juliene
"Lupe was still up when we arrived late in the evening. Just like the perfect host! She showed us the house and all the amenities including the cafe. Oh my goodness, the charm of this place. If you don't mind traveling back in time to the days before TV's, vending machines and time crunches, this is the place for you! Because the Inn was not full, we were treated to even more perks and privileges. She shared history of the area and you'll find her life's journey very inspiring. Her kindness spills over into the community and the residents of Sedgwick. If you are hooked on Hilton, this is not the place for you. If you value conversation, community, life essentials, meals from scratch and small town gems, it is so worth the exit off I-80."
Celeste
"Great stay at the Sedgwick Antique Inn. Cute tiny town and Lupe was so friendly with me and my mom. She had an extra room and let us split up for the night which was very kind. Nice stocked breakfast nook as well. Overall just a quaint and cozy place with an interesting history. If we come through the area again, we would definitely stay here!"

"Lupe was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome upon arrival. We were looking for a place to get a shower and a good sleep after being on the road for a couple days. Our stay with Lupe was exactly what we wanted and needed. Lupe is a wonderful host and a really lovely person."

"I would definitely recommend this little hidden gem! Lupe was a great host, very friendly and made me feel like home. Her place had the most character than any other place I've been on Airbnb, a very unique and memorable experience! Thanks you Lupe!"

"Lupe's door to her inn and heart are wide open and waiting for you to enter. Lots of good stories about the area and an attached cafe with a full menu. Delicious BLT."

"My husband and I loved Lupe's! The entire town made us feel like we were part of the family. The Inn was charming and felt like we were staying at family's. Thanks Lupe! We will be back soon!!"
Kasey
"What an amazing place. A work in progress. I felt like I was back in the old west. Loved all the antique furniture. The front was very inviting to just set and take a load off in the old metal lawn chairs, and watching the "goings on" up and down the street. Don't leave the area until you see the white pelicans! Lupe will tell you all about them. I was an unbeliever, until I took the short drive to see for myself. A bit off the beaten path but well worth it."
Kathy
"Great accommodations and very warm atmosphere. Perfect place for our family of 6."
Chris
"This place is really cool, it's almost a hundred year old building that's full of antiques. The town is really small and full of friendly people. There is a restaurant called Lucy's Place a couple miles away that makes great Buffalo burgers. Oh, and there is a dispensary across the street and a smoke shack next door, for those interested. Lupe was a wonderful host, very kind and welcoming, full of information about the history of the town and the buildings."
Orion
"The funniest little town I've ever been to. Amazing hospitality and the locals are a riot. I loved the short time I spent here."
Jeremy
"We had a great time. Unique room, nicely decorated. Shared bath but convenient. Someone met us right away. Cafe next door had good food and friendly service. Very small but welcoming town."
Nancy
"The host made me feel very welcome. The listing was accurate except it was much more quaint then expected. Very interesting stay. The bed was comfortable, the room was big and air conditioned. It was perfect."
Linda
"A very unique experience. We were checked in by some other guests because Lupita was at the hospital with a friend. She had made sure we were taken care of before leaving though. We felt very welcomed and it was nice to have a chance to talk with others who had stayed there before. We were tired and chose the room that was immediately available (#12) which was right by the stairs. It was a little loud because we could hear people coming and going up and down the stairs but Lupita had offered us/encouraged us to take a room other than that one so that was on us. All in all, it was fine, though because everyone settled down fairly early. The Inn was an interesting mix of a European hotel (with shared bathrooms) and something completely American. It was clean and comfortable."
Michelle
"Lupe (the owner) Kelly, Jerry, and Shorty were amazing host! I would definitely recommend staying here they were very cordial super nice that all my needs and allowed my small service animal Jack to join me in my trip. It was very nice sitting in the living room talking to Lupe and learning about her life as well as telling her about mine. These are some genuinely good people. It's true it's just like Grandma's house you feel right at home! Come stay here!"

"A charming experience! Despite arriving very late in the evening we were meet warmly, and shown to our room. The building really is charming, and full of beautiful antique furniture. Reminded me a lot of staying at my grandmothers. The mattress was wonderful after a long day on the road. I sank right in. The only thing is that the bathrooms, and showers are communal. While I didn't have any issues with it. I'll be bringing shower shoes in the future just to be safe."
Christopher
"Forget your American notion of a hotel when you walk through the doors of the Sedgwick Antique Inn. This hotel brings the amazing charm of a European venue to the states. We were greeted and welcomed and made to feel right at home. After a quick tour where we saw the fully stocked breakfast nook and the amazing common area, we retired to our quaintly decorated double. There was exactly the right mix of fun and hedonism. It reminded me so much of backpacking excursions in Europe. If you have done that and are comfortable with that level of relaxed elegance, you'll do well at the Sedgwick Antique Inn."

"Sedgwick Inn, as described by other folks, is not for everyone though. I found the uniqueness of the inn charming and interesting and thankful for a little respite from a long drive. Communication was great and everything was smooth!"
Adrian
"I arrived at night, when there was an impending storm. I was the only one staying at the Inn, and it was a bit spooky. But otherwise, my stay was good and I'm sure in the daytime, the Inn is lovely and inviting. I had to leave early the next morning and so I didn't get to see the town."
Hannah
"Drove in from Minneapolis, MN on my way to the Rockies for the ski season. Took a night off from driving at Sedgwick Inn. The northeast corner of Colorado is a highly traveled area with people funneling in from multiple directions. Lots of history in this town and certainly in this building. Nearly a century old, originally a bank, then by Lupe for numerous decades. This place has a lot of story to it. If you ask her I'm sure they would be happy to tell you. My friend and I had a very intriguing experience and a comfortable night sleep. We appreciated the coffee before we hit the road in the morning. Will mostly likely be back on a future return trip to Minnesota."
